Today’s inspiration: Orange

How to use it: Picture burning lava flowing down the side of a volcano. It is bright and beautiful, and destroys everything in its path. It flows into the sea where it cools to solid rock. You have this lava within you. Picture orange lava flowing throughout your body clearing away all that does not serve you. Picture it solidifying into resolve. It alternates between the two states, according to what you need.

Example: Put on something orange, or tuck something orange in your pocket or purse. Let the power of change affect everything you do today. Do you drink coffee every morning in the car? Today, drink it at home for five minutes while you look out the window or sit outside. Do you straighten up the house before you start your day? Before you begin, read a page in a book, make a phone call, sit for five minutes in silence. Whatever you normally do, do it differently today.

For fun: Water is the element associated with Tuesday and the sacral chakra. Water is fluid and refreshing. Use it to balance the heat of lava. Each time you do something different, drink a glass of water and repeat, “I allow change. I embrace change. I welcome change.”

Be inspired. Go forth. Create your day.
