Horrors happen every day, everywhere in the world, but only some things affect how we operate and feel in our daily lives. What lies BENEATH the external situation making you uncomfortable is what needs your attention.
We can hold on to our stories and why we are right, or we can open up and consider what a given situation is trying to teach us. Use Camden’s example.
Get to know your discomfort. Sit with it. Listen to it. Don’t push it away by focusing on other people’s actions, or numb it with mindless distraction. Sit still. Be quiet. Be uncomfortable. Listen to your inner wisdom.

I propose that this April is the new January. An excellent time to take stock of your life. What are you doing? Where are you going? What matters to you?
