Reinvent vs. Reveal

Popular saying: “You have to reinvent yourself.”

Universal truth: “You are already enough just as you are.”

Sometimes a plant doesn’t thrive because its roots are bound or it’s not getting enough sun. When we unbind a rootball or move the plant to a sunnier location, we don’t think, “Okay now, become a different kind of plant.” We think, “Grow. Thrive. Be healthy.”

Huge life changes provide us an opportunity to uncover what we already are.

You are enough. PERIOD.

Be present in this moment with all of its discomfort and challenges. Let your heart guide you, and rest in the knowledge that you don’t need to do anything to be valuable. The world needs your presence.
